Aero Xperience: Building the Future Aviation Workforce Through Youth Programs in Fall 2026
How 2025 laid the groundwork for expanded youth programming and classroom-based aviation experiences in 2026.
At 2MQ Consulting, we don’t see impact as a single moment; we build it as a movement. In 2025, we laid the foundation for what comes next by launching Aero Xperience: Aviation in Action, a youth-focused initiative designed to introduce and connect middle and high school students to aviation and aerospace careers through real-world pathways, industry leadership, and immersive, hands-on experiences.
In October 2025, that vision came to life in Raleigh, North Carolina. More than 600 students, educators, youth organizations, and families stepped into a space intentionally built for imagination, access, and possibility, where the future of aviation wasn’t just explained, but experienced. From the opening flight attendant safety briefing that set the tone, to interactive learning moments throughout the day, every detail of Aero Xperience was designed with purpose.
Led by Monica Meadows of 2MQ Consulting, in collaboration with Black Women in Aviation, and powered by the collective commitment of Piedmont Airlines, GE Aerospace, Elizabeth City State University’s Department of Aviation and Emergency Management, and our incredible partners, Aero Xperience 2025 transformed learning into opportunity and curiosity into confidence—reinforcing what’s possible when exposure, representation, and access come together by design.
A Day Where Aviation Came Alive
Aero Xperience delivered what traditional career days rarely can – hands-on aviation immersion designed to help students actually feel what their futures could look like:
- Expanded career exploration by connecting students directly with pilots, aerospace engineers, aircraft technicians, flight dispatchers, military aviators, drone specialists, and aviation innovators, helping them envision real futures in aviation and aerospace.
- Made STEM education come alive through hands-on workshops or aeronautical charts, flight simulators, drone demonstrations, robotics, virtual reality technology or the and interactive learning experiences that linked classroom concepts to real-world aviation careers.
- Showcased authentic aviation career pathways through stories from industry professionals, offering students firsthand insight into what it takes to build a career in the skies – from training and certifications to mentorship, resilience, and passion.
- Built a community-centered environment filled with joy, representation, inspiration, confidence, and equitable access, reinforcing why inclusive aviation and aerospace programs are essential for the next generation.
Celebrating Growth, Grit, and the Next Generation
A standout moment of the night came when the presenting sponsor, Piedmont Airlines, awarded a $5,000 flight training scholarship to rising aviator Chynah Jeter, fueling the next chapter of her journey toward becoming a licensed pilot and underscoring the true heart of Aero Xperience. Because representation is more than visibility; it’s the spark that tells young people, “This can be you.”
What’s Coming Down the Runway Next
Aero Xperience was never designed to be a one-time moment. It’s the beginning of something much bigger.
Raleigh: Continuing the Momentum
We’re already building the next phase of year-round programming for Raleigh and Wake County. From workshops to micro-experiences to hands-on STEM activations in schools and in communities, our mission is the same:
Bring aviation opportunities directly to North Carolina students — early, often, and equitably.
More details will be shared in early 2026 as partnerships formalize and programming expands.
Charlotte: Inaugural Aero Xperience — Fall 2026
We’re thrilled to announce that the next major stop is Charlotte, where the inaugural Aero Xperience event will launch in Fall 2026.
New partners, new youth audiences, and the same powerful mission: Inspiring young talent and building the workforce of tomorrow.
The Vision Continues — And You Can Be a Part of It
Aero Xperience continues to show that when students are given access, exposure, and encouragement, they rise. As we expand this vision, partnership and community voice are essential.
Whether you’re a curious student, a supportive parent, an educator, or a professional in aviation or aerospace, there’s a seat for you on this journey. Reach out, ask questions, get connected – because the future of flight needs all of us on board.
